A visit from the F18s

One of the highlights of the program so far- two F18s came to visit! We met the pilots and got to help preflight the planes!

CAU Graduation

Our flight instructors are regular CAU students. Today was their college graduation. It was held in the plane hangar!

We were issued our flight suits today. They are super cool, but HOT to wear in the CA summer!

Edwards Air Force Base

One of the highlights so far was our visit to the Air Force Flight Test Museum at Edwards Air Force Base. We got to see some REALLY COOL airplanes!

Fit Check

We wear "uniforms" at flight school. We were issued several shirts and we wear navy or black pants or shorts. They tell us which shirt to wear each day. This one is the Aim High Flight Academy shirt. We also have CAU shirts.
